Covid Precautions we like to be taking

Covid Precautions we like to be taking:

Put on a mask.

• Masks should be used in public by anyone aged two and above, as well as staying at least 6 feet away, especially around persons who do not reside with you.

• If someone in your home is infected, everyone in the house should take precautions, such as wearing masks to prevent the infection from spreading to others.

• Before using the mask, wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.

• Put mask over the nose as well as mouth and under your chin to keep it in place.

• Slip the loops over the ears or tie the strings behind your head to secure the mask on the sides of your face.

• If you have to adjust your mask frequently, it doesn't fit properly, and you should look for a different type or brand.

• Make sure you can readily breathe.

Keep a distance of 6 feet or above between you and others.

• Within your house, avoid close contact with sick people.

• When you're outside your house, keep a 6-foot distance between yourself and those who don't reside with you.

Vaccinate yourself

• COVID-19 vaccinations that the CDC has approved can help protect you from the virus.

• If a COVID-19 vaccination is available, you should obtain it.

• Once you are vaccinated, you may be able to resume some of the activities you had put on hold due to the pandemic.

Avoid crowded areas and spaces with poor ventilation.

• Being in a crowded environment, such as restaurants, bars, fitness centers, or movie theatres, increases your chancs of contracting COVID-19.

• As much as possible, avoid interior locations that do not provide fresh air from the outdoors.

• If feasible, introduce fresh air into the house by opening windows and doors.

Handwashing should be done often.

• Rinse hands regularly for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap and water, especially after being in a public area or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

• If you don't have soap or water, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

• Avoid reaching your eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands that haven't been washed.

Coughs and sneezes should be covered.

• You can easily cough or sneeze into your mask if you're wearing one. As quickly as possible, put on a fresh, clean mask and wash your hands.

• Wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap and water right away. If soap and water aren't available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands.

Disinfect and clean

• Wipe down the high-touch surfaces daily.

• If someone is ill or has tested positive for COVID-19, disinfect regularly handled surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, workstations, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks. Follow the manufacturer's labeled guidelines when using a household disinfectant from the EPA's List N: Disinfectants for Coronavirus (COVID-19)external icon.
